Patrick is an autistic researcher at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.  He has a broad interest in helping to ensure that autistic people can lead fulfilling lives, but his research currently focuses specifically on sensory processing and attention in autism.  Side-interests include (but are not limited to) inclusion in education, postsecondary education, neurodiversity theory, community views on intervention, mental health and anxiety, and anything else relevant to the well-being of autistic people.

When not doing autism research or hanging out in the autistic community, Patrick can often be found biking on his way to do something else, reading, or spending an excessive amount of time staring at his computer screen.
